Hey, thanks for the shout out! :)

You're welcome! I used to play Franks Adventure at school and loved it. Inspired me a lot.

This is like a great inspirational speech at a decennial.

Thanks I hope it was helpful and inspiring to read for a 10 year mark :)

Great post, thanks for sharing your 10 year journey! I think a lot of us were left in the wilderness for a few years there and are still in the process of finding our way out. Such a big shake up with everyone losing faith in Flash for game development yet not having a good web game alternative ready to take its place. I still believe web-based games will have the spotlight again in the future due to their sheer ease of access - people don't like installing lots of stuff. If you can make a game that will legitimately sell, Steam and mobile are worth trying but right now there are a lot of devs making small free downloadable games that not many people are downloading, installing and playing.

Here's to the next 10 years!

Thanks, glad you liked it :) It was a good trip down memory lane to write up. Yeah you're right I still think web games will stay strong for a long time to come and don't think the whole demise of Flash is as big as people make it out to be. I mean after all, people still play Atari games and Pong! The drop in the users is a little sad though but time will tell.

Thanks for the mention! It's been a long and bumpy road, feels like things are turning back up, though with a slight twist... the only reliable thing in the world is CHANGE! :-)

You're welcome. That's it everything changes and we flow with it even in the bad times that make us stronger... we hope.

I haven't played any of your games, but enjoyed reading your story anyway. Good luck with your future games!

Glad you enjoyed it and got something out of it :) I've played some of yours and they a great quality work.

Man! I still remember playing draw-play when i was a kid, i love It So much! And congrat on 10 years, Nice to see some oldie's alive on this site ;3

Awww yay a fan from the old days! :D Glad people still remember it and it gave them joy! Yep I'm doing my best to stay alive lol.

Wow, I played Draw-play back then, and I also remember "Stikyah Adventuryah", heheh!
Really interesting to see how influential NG can be through a developer's career. So much people began exploring the wonders of Flash through the 2000's and now are working on their areas of choice: It's crazy to think how much the web has changed since then, (even Flash comes with another name too) but after that, it's so great to see Newgrounds still going.

I'm getting close to my own '10' years (also from 2006) I should probably write my own recap.

Stickya Adventurya was always so fun to make I remember with the silly jokes and voice acting. Was fun to just let loose and make a non serious game for a change. I'm glad you remember them :D

Yeah definitely, a website can make all the difference amazingly. Definitely write your own recap.

It's been one hell of a ride, but an excellent one at that. ^_^

The rollercoaster of life has indeed been crazy! That would make a good animation. The Newgrounds rollercoaster of death :P

Hey Congrats to your 10 years, I been a NG member for 10 years as well. Simliar to you, I am coming back to create more :)

Woo cheers mate. We are 10 year companions! Good we need to create more! more more and more more more more and more more ... more!

Has it been 10 years already? I was promised we'd have conquered this puny planet by now.

You have failed me for the last time, fortune cookie.

I reckon. The human resistance was unexpected.
