So the reason I dissapeared is cause I got a job for PPL (Perth Poker League) As a programmer I was always good with odds and maths and I won a few tournaments and got the job. Now I run poker tournaments around Perth, if you're in Perth, come on down and say hi to me! 

Unfortunately this has put my game making on hold a long time, but now I can save money and work on one really big game comfortably without worrying about money.

If any of you have suggestions on what my biggest game should be, feel free to let me know in the comments :D

A while ago as practice for fun I had a go at recreating mario, the physics still arn't perfect, but I think I got them pretty close. Was fun programming an old classic. This is a good way to practice making platformers smooth and seeing how mario did it. Play and/or download the engine below.

Hopefully this helps with making your platformers smoother. All graphics are mario owned of course. Also testing this new posting and it's pretty cool editing on the fly instead of going back and forth correcting mistakes.

Heres a click, drag and throw engine I made. I also put in some planes that you can throw objects at and destroy if it's traveling above a certain speed. I think this could make a great game in a lot of different ways. Use it to learn from and make your own little throwing game!

Heres a sidescrolling shooter engine I coded that you may use to learn from. It has a basic platform engine and various weapons. It uses basic trigonometry to calculate the angle to shoot the bullets. The last weapon is a laser tripwire which is pretty cool, I haven't even used that in a game yet. Feel free to edit and modify the code as you wish. Just don't use the graphics in any released projects. Hope this is helpful for you to make your own game.

Sometimes in game making it's great to make your own level editor. This allows you to save a lot of time when it comes to making the levels later because you can simply post in the array for each level and load it by numbers. Also good for including in the game so other people can make there own levels and share with friends. Heres one I coded that you can use for free to learn from. The code exports an array to fill the grid, each block number is represented by a number. 1 being a basic block and any other numbers can be added for extra pieces. The array uses a | to seperate the lines to be able to load the level from the text. My game Time Sphere used an advanced version of this engine to make.

Been on this website 8 years and I've now made it to level 40. 2/3 of the way there. SLOWEST RPG GAME EVER OMG!

I thought this deserved a post since ya know.....EIGHT YEARS!!!!!!!

It's cool to have supported something so long and have a website give me just as much as I give it. Everyone here has something that a lot of people in the world are missing, and that's a great hobby that can turn into so much more. As long as you remain creative in life, you're always moving forwards. You are always making something new to share with the world.

I couldn't think of a better website to visit. Creativity is one of the most important things in life, to happyness and progress.

..onwards to 60.

New game released - Break the TV - Huzzah

I've now finished 4 games this year. Really nice from not submitting anything for 2 years. I'm full steam ahead. These have all been good practice. I've also teamed up with an artist for next game from newgrounds, a really talented kid I wanna give a shot. Were gonna make a sidescroller shooter with destructible ground! Stay tuned for that baby, should be my best game this year.

Hey guys, released my new game Heli vs Tower! A game where you see how far you
can make it. Always liked that style of game. Also wanted to do something with helicopters going pew pew. It's a little simple. I think I might have to start expanding on these ideas now with upgrade systems. You can also eject out the helicopter to take over new helicopters to survive longer.

I think it turned out alright, a nice little time waster to see how far you get. Time will tell anyways as I watch the scores and reviews of it. I've been trying to get more into action games lately rather then comedy.

I've been making good progress and making more stuff lately, finally getting back into the swing of things after my long break and bad times through life. Getting on my feet and releasing new stuff again! it feels good. Feels like progress!

Every game is a new lesson to teach me new things about what works, what doesn't. Art and Programming lessons. Design ideas and what the general public likes. So I'm always happy when a new game is released. An exciting day! :)

My next game I'm gonna raise the bar and try a sidescroller shooter with destructible ground like I used in Draw-Play and Heaven and Hell. So stay tuned for that baby.

Just finished and released a new game called Silly Chicken it's a lot more comedy based. Wanted to make something a little less serious for fun. Poor little chicken being in love online! long distance relationships are really really tough, especially if you're a chicken!

I'm getting back into the swing of things now, so except more games up and coming :)
